Work With Me
Shout "Amen!" if you can identify with any of the following designer frustrations:
I love delivering gorgeous custom websites to clients, but hate coding them myself. But, if I pass my mockups off to a developer, he messes up a lot of the details that make the design special in the first place...ugh!
I'm tired of trying to do it all. Designing and coding everything on my own is totally overwhelming.
I sometimes waste hours trying to fix a stubborn bug in a client's site. I wish I could just pass those development tasks off to someone else so I wouldn't have to deal with them.
I dread the point in a project when the designing is done and all that's left is the development of the client's website.
You're here because you're ready to let go of the overwhelm. You're excited to design more and code less.

You've caught a glimpse of what it could feel like to have more time and energy to focus on doing the work you love the most; designing beautiful brands. You can see how that would impact not only the day-to-day operations of your own business, but also the caliber of website you get to deliver to your clients.
Feels pretty darn good, right?
Together, we'll create and build beautifully functional custom websites for your clients. They'll be floored and you'll feel good about your business again.
We're going to make one heck of a team!
Let's Talk Process.
01. // Get in Touch
Let's chat about your specific needs. Once I get a clearer picture of your ideas and requirements, we'll discuss pricing and timeline.

02. // Finalize Your Spot
After the contract is signed and the retainer is received, I'll finalize your spot in my development schedule.
03. // Send Me Your Files
Before I begin, I'll need to get the design from you! You'll send me your website mockups in the format of your choice, as well as any graphics, icons, or photos I'll be using during the site build.

04. // Building Begins
I'll be in touch with you often during the actual development process via our project Asana list, asking questions about your preferences and filling you in on my progress.
05. // testable site & revisions
The first major milestone will be a testable version of your site. After you get your hands on the working demo, we'll put our heads together to revise and refine it. Once we finalize the site, I'll upload it to your server and/or send you copies of all the files after payment in full.

06. // Celebrate!
Have a little shindig with your client over the finished site! Imagine how freeing it's going to feel to reach launch day without once having to stress over code on your way there. Amazing!

Whenever I work with you Megan, I never doubt you can do what I'm designing. I know I can be as creative as possible. That's worth its weight in gold right there. I can give my clients so much more now and really convey their individuality in the design because I'm no longer restricted by website builders. I always sing your praises when someone is looking for a developer - Although I better not shout them too loudly or other designers might steal all of your time, haha!
Let's Talk Money.
I work with designers on many different types of projects and my services are designed to fit your unique needs. Depending on those needs, we will begin by selecting one of my three base options.
one-day intensives
Perfect when you need a list of tasks knocked out quickly for an existing website. Your project gets my full focus for either a half day or full day. Half-day intensives are priced at $750; full-day intensives are priced at $1500.
Per Project
When you need lots of help with one website in particular, I will price per project. Pricing starts at $3000 for a full site build.
Monthly Retainer
For when you need my help regularly, I have a limited amount of retainer intensives available. You will be billed on a recurring monthly basis and you will receive priority access to schedule your development intensive days each month.
Currently booked out.
Let's talk about what I work with.
The short answer: no matter what you're working with in terms of platform, content management system, framework, or language, I can probably help you.
However, there are some platforms and languages I work with more often than others.
WordPress is my bread and butter, but I'm also more than comfortable working with SquareSpace and Shopify. Laravel is my favorite framework for building a completely custom experience from the ground up, but I'm really enjoying Next.JS (and React) for the right projects as well.
I knew you were going to get the work done and done well. I could hand off my designs and know you were executing them beautifully, without me having to double check everything or micromanage. Or write a 20 page PDF outline all the obvious information. [The client] loved the site, had a great launch, and was so proud of the results.

Let's talk about when we won't be the perfect fit.
As someone who also works with clients, you know that not every potential client is the perfect fit. There are instances when I choose not to work on projects so that everyone is fully satisfied with the end results.
We may not be the best fit if:
You needed your project delivered yesterday.
While I do my best to work with your deadlines, I have a limited amount of work time available; once it's booked, there isn't a whole lot of wiggle room. I will occasionally take on projects with quick turnaround times, but rush fees will apply.
You want very granular control over the coding.
Requirements and requests are absolutely fine–like needing something written in a certain programming language or to be based on a particular theme–but, if you're hiring me to code something for you, you'll have to trust my knowledge and experience. Let me worry about the code so that you don't have to.
You're looking for the cheapest developer there is.
My rates are neither the highest or lowest on the market, so if you're making your decision based solely on price, I'm probably not the developer for you. I've put a lot of thought into setting rates that appropriately value my skills and talents, my time, and the return I think you'll get from working with me.
When I work with brand designers to code beautiful websites, I make sure those sites are easy to update for their clients. Looking out for you–and ultimately, looking out for your client–is important to me.
Are you ready to have someone that you can trust take development off your to-do list? Wouldn't it be nice to focus on what you really love–designing? Are you ready to say goodbye to overwhelm, wasted hours and a pounding head from trying to do it all on your own or from working with a developer who just doesn't get it?
Let's create and build beautiful websites together. One client at a time.
